I had previously done my website on Squarespace, and it sort of did the job for me, but there were so many things I wanted to fix, however felt I didn't have the time to commit to researching how to fix them. After feeling frustrated with the design of my website I decided it was time to find someone to help. Strategy pack
This is a summary of the strategy call we go through before we start design. It is the foundations of your business and the building blocks on which we create your brand. The pack will include your key messages, ideal client, competitors and creative direction.
Logo and brandmark
A beautiful main logo and a simplified version called a brandmark in every colour and format you’ll ever need.
Colour palette
Your brand colour palette specifically chosen to create an emotional connection with your dream client.
Graphic elements
A selection of graphic elements to enhance and style your brand with, including patterns, icons and textures.
Typography
A carefully selected font pairing that showcases your brand’s vibe.
Canva templates
Editable graphics designed in Canva so you can show off your new brand to the world. We also supply brand collateral like business cards if you’ve opted for any extras.
Brand book
A comprehensive PDF document with all of your branding and basic how-to instructions to ensure your brand’s consistency. I like to call this the Little Brand Bible you and your team can always refer back to.
1:1 Training
As we wrap up the project we will jump on a call and I will walk you through the files I’m handing over as well as the brand book to make sure you understand everything. Depending on the day we can do this over a cup of coffee or wine! Don’t worry it’ll be fully recorded in case there is anything you forget.

Strategy
It’s super important to always start off with a strategy call. This is where I get nosy and want to know all your goals for the site and any special features or requirements you may need. This will help me to design and build a website that truly speaks to your dream clients/customers and will draw them to you like a magnet.
Website Design
I’ll map out all the pages of your website for you to approve before the site goes under development. It’s important for us to not only make sure your website looks beautiful but is also SEO optimised and functional for the best possible customer experience. The design I send you will be a prototype that will work just like the actual site when it is built, so you will be able to click through all the buttons and pages to see how they work.
Website development
I work exclusively with Squarespace as I find it the best and most functional platform currently on the market. Once it’s completed, it’s super easy for you to update and manage yourself (don’t worry I’ll show you how and record it so you don’t forget) without the help of a designer. I will transfer the gorgeous new website design into your fully functional DREAM website.
1:1 Training
Just like a branding project we will finish up the website project with a call so I can show you through your site, how to use it and how you can make updates yourself. This will all be recorded so there’s no need to worry if there is too much information, you can always play it back and re-watch. Then we will hopefully finish off our chat with big cheers and a glass of bubbly.

Branding
How long does a branding project take? +
We work in design sprints and only take on a single design client at a time. Branding takes 2-4 weeks start to finish and websites an additional 2-4 weeks. We have a very strict timeline and provide our clients with specific times and dates to provide feedback. When you book in a project with us you will need to be available at these times which we will go through in our kick-off meeting.
What's the difference between your essentials package and brand in a day? +
The Brand in a Day is for women who need to get going quickly with their business and require a simple logo or collateral ASAP and is most suited to someone who is just starting their business journey. The Biz Essentials Package is for the women who want to get serious about their branding. It's a longer process and requires research and strategy to develop branding that speaks to their audience.
What's the difference between a primary logo, secondary logo and submarks? +
Primary logo - The official 'identity' of your business. This logo is the most detailed version and will be for primary use.
Secondary logo - A simplified version of your logo that can be used instead of your primary logo. There may be less detail in this design or it could be suited to another orientation in different scenarios.
Brandmarks - These are the fun designed elements that bring your brand to life. They could be little illustrations, icons, animations, wordmarks or taglines. These graphics compliment your primary and secondary logo and make your brand recognisable in instances where you don't want to use your other logos.
Is there much work required from me? +
There will be some initial work for you to complete. I will provide you with a questionaire to fill out about your brand. You will also need to be available for feedback most days throughout your 2 week project.
What files will I receive at the end of the project? +
A huge brand suite of ready to use graphics in all formats and colours listed below.
- Logos in svg, eps, jpg and png
- Brand font files ready to install and use
- Brand favicon
- Brand tiles for social media profiles
- Style guide - a PDF that covers your brand foundations, strategy, mood board, colour palette and colour combinations, fonts, type hierarchy, logos and how to use them, submarks, other brand elements like patterns, shapes and images.
- Launch graphics to share your new brand with the world.
Websites
How long does a web design project take? +
This depends on the scope of your website. For our base package which is a simple 5 page website the time frame is 2 weeks. Anything additional will take longer and will be discussed in our discovery call.
How do I prepare for a website project? +
You will need to get all of your content ready. This includes professional photography and all of your copy. Don't worry if you have no idea where to start. I will provide you with a preparation document to help you gather everything you need.
What platform will you build my website in? +
I currently build all websites in Squarespace or Showit. I find Squarespace is easier for clients to use and update copy and imagery in themselves once the project is complete.
Can I add a shop or blog to my website? +
Yes you certainly can. We will talk through your requirements in our initial discovery call.
Do you provide ongoing website support +
We are able to complete full page designs & add-ons for our custom clients on a project to project basis, but do not offer monthly routine maintenance.

You can view our custom design packages by completing the form above. we have prices for out base packages but if you require something different then we will quote for you.
Do you offer payment plans? +
We sure do! You will have the option to subscribe to a fortnightly payment plan or get a discount for paying in full.
Do you offer refunds? +
No refunds are offered at EMCO Design.
Can you design my stationery with branding I already have?
If you require stationery or branded collateral you will need to book in for a 1:1 day intensive. Click here for more information on this.
How does the booking process work?
Fill out the form below. You will be emailed a longer questionnaire about your business, requirements and a preferred date and time for our discovery call. Once we have scoped out what you need, we will send you a proposal and timeline. After you have accepted, the contract is signed, and initial invoice is paid we will send you everything you need for the next steps.
